刘旦华，号雕龙子孙，世居深圳龙山之畔，1954年出生于平湖松柏围的一个书香之家，曾祖父刘游之曾获贡入北京国子监就读，创办“雕虫书室”，是晚清岁贡生，祖父刘彭龄曾创办“雕龙书室”、是清末民初最早新式学校之一——纪劬劳学校首位校长，并与素有“国民才女”“无冠博士”之称的夫人庄凤笙合著《雕龙诗集》，曾与当时华北地区著名书法家赵铁生(昌燮)同为清己酉科拔贡生，国子监同期。家族在省港地区享有“父子岁拔”之美誉。父亲刘仲德知识渊博，擅诗词字画，满腹经纶。历任小学校长、中学校长，终生从事教育事业，素有“平湖文胆”之称。
Liu Danhua, also known as the descendants of Diaolong, has lived on the banks of Longshan in Shenzhen. He was born in 1954 in a scholarly family in Songbaiwei, Pinghu. His great grandfather, Liu Youzhi, received tribute to study at the Beijing Imperial Academy and founded the "Diaozheng Book Room". He was a tribute student in the late Qing Dynasty. His grandfather, Liu Pengling, founded the "Diaolong Book Room" and was one of the earliest modern schools in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. He was also the first principal of the Jiqiuluo School, known as the "National Talent Girl" and "Dr. Wu Guan" Madame Zhuang Fengsheng, also known as the "Diaolong Poetry Collection", co authored the "Diaolong Poetry Collection". She was once a tribute student of the Qing Dynasty's Ji You Academy, along with the famous calligrapher Zhao Tiesheng (Chang Xie) in North China at that time. The family enjoys the reputation of being a father and son in the province and Hong Kong region. Father Liu Zhongde is knowledgeable, skilled in poetry, calligraphy, and painting, and full of knowledge. Having served as a primary school principal and a secondary school principal, he devoted his entire life to the education industry and is known as the "literary courage of Pinghu".
刘旦华为法学研究生学历，曾获聘国家农业部中国乡镇企业研究院研究员、中国历史唯物主义学会特邀研究员、《中华刘氏文化宝典》副主编。现为国家高级经营师、国家高级书法家、中国楹联学会会员、中国楹联学会书法艺术研究会副秘书长、深圳市党史文献和地方志学会会员、深圳平湖书画协会会长、广东省省级非物质文化遗产项目龙舞(平湖纸龙舞)代表性传承人。2014年，刘旦华家庭获深圳市政府“深圳世家”称号;2019年获中国非物质文化研究会“国家非物质文化传承人之家”殊荣。

I am currently a national senior business operator, national senior calligrapher, member of the Chinese Couplet Society, deputy secretary-general of the Calligraphy Art Research Association of the Chinese Couplet Society, member of the Shenzhen Party History Literature and Local Chronicles Society, president of the Shenzhen Pinghu Calligraphy and Painting Association, and representative inheritor of the Guangdong Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage Project Dragon Dance (Pinghu Paper Dragon Dance). In 2014, Liu Danhua's family was awarded the title of "Shenzhen Family" by the Shenzhen Municipal Government; In 2019, it was honored as the "National Intangible Culture Inheritor's Home" by the China Intangible Culture Research Association.
刘旦华自幼受家庭传统文化熏陶，国学基础扎实，喜甲骨、篆书、草书，尤其对大篆有系统研究，其作品吸收了楚简、金文和草书的特点，追求“篆意草情”的用笔观念，无论在用笔、纸、墨上都能有所突破，较好地突出了古篆本有的精、气、神和古朴清新之美，尤其是在进京面授中得到中国书法家协会培训中心教授的悉心授教，技法更有明显的提高，无论篆、行、草书都取得了长足的进步。
Liu Danhua has been influenced by traditional family culture since childhood, with a solid foundation in traditional Chinese studies. He enjoys oracle bones, seal script, and cursive script, especially systematic research on the large seal script. His works absorb the characteristics of Chu bamboo slips, bronze inscriptions, and cursive script, and pursue the concept of "seal script meaning grass emotion" in brushstrokes. He can make breakthroughs in brushstrokes, paper, and ink, highlighting the essence, energy, spirit, and ancient and fresh beauty of ancient seal script, Especially during the face-to-face teaching in Beijing, I received careful guidance from the training center of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, and my skills have significantly improved. I have made significant progress in seal script, line writing, and cursive script.
尤其是近十多年来，刘旦华上下求索、师古出新，在素有“青铜之花”的金文基础上脱颖而出的“黑篆体”，更有自己的独到之处，形成了自己独特的艺术风格，在当今的书法界独树一帜，在书坛上更是奠定了坚不可摧的地位。正如七年前，沈鹏老师在对刘旦华的黑篆体书法作品解读时所说：“此新体运笔具有'方起方收，齐整如排'之特色，且构字严谨，平缓细腻，对墨色的分布亦呈现出斑驳古雅意味和艺术美感。”同时又给予了较高的评价和寄予深切的期望：“刘旦华的篆体书作在继承古代书法家的基础上融入了自己的手法。充分体现了其独特的审美观点。通观之下尤觉神采飞扬，逸趣横生，旋律、节奏都把握得非常和谐，具有非常耐人寻味的艺术效果，这不是仅有笔墨功夫就能达到的，望先生博采众长完善自己的理论和风格而自成体系，再接再厉，为推动中国书法事业做出应有的贡献。

十年磨一剑。2021年，刘旦华独创的“黑篆体”字体已日臻成熟，自成一体。为更好地传承“雕龙书室”“雕龙诗集”与“平湖纸龙舞”的优秀传统文化和非物质文化遗产，刘旦华溯百年“雕龙世家”之源，以“刘氏雕龙黑篆体”冠名申请进入中华兰亭字体库的人类非物质文化遗产代表作名录“中国当代书法名家字体库采集工程项目”，2022年上半年，经中华兰亭字库开发组委会严格审查，刘旦华获“最佳设计师奖”。同时，“刘氏雕龙黑篆体”字体获国家承认，正式入库上线。刘旦华没有辜负书法界老前辈沈鹏老师的期望，为推动中国书法事业做出了应有的贡献。

Liu Danhua did not disappoint the expectations of the senior teacher Shen Peng in the calligraphy industry and made the due contribution to promoting the Chinese calligraphy industry.
今天，“刘氏雕龙黑篆体”正以全新的面貌走进中华兰亭字库这一金碧辉煌的书法文字殿堂。正如中国书法收藏界的权威杂志《中国收藏》10年前的点评“金石文字，历代以来都是文人雅士眼中的高古之物。纵观古今书林，能将金石文字运用自如而又书写精到的书家屈指可数。而刘旦华就正是这样一位真正的艺术名家。他的大篆古雅深沉而又痛快酣畅，其中蕴含的金石之气更是让人眼前一亮，如面对青铜古物般震撼。然而他同时又将金石文字之中的趣味与意蕴表现得淋漓尽致。这样的作品，放在任何时代都将灿灿生辉而不致泯灭。
