　　薛稳发，笔名亚杰，司马迁故里陕西韩城人。国家一级美术师，中华国礼艺术家、中国文化艺术国际传播大使、中国实力派书法家，国家民族画院书法家。

　　薛先生自幼酷爱书法，始宗欧、颜、柳、赵,继追二王、米诸多大家。60载笔耕不缀，精心研习法贴，注重实践功用，从帖学中博采众家之长，于严谨虔敬的“尚古”精神，里去领会古人的书作内涵。他尊重传统,功力深厚,笔法自然,刚劲有力,真草隶篆样样皆通。不但有诸书皆成的功法，更有独拥篆草双精的奇才。要柔和时有柔和，要雄绝时有雄绝，一笔双能，此言不虚。其作品可用多姿多彩四个字来形容。其书作中，不仅诸体皆能，且于研新之创的作品中，更能看到他笔法精湛之功底，创意层出之风韵。意态万千的笔墨风采，观之令人目不暇接。若细品之，不仅仅是停留于浮表之形态，更有一种沉逸空远，幽邃深挚之情怀。薛先生书法，既入古，又变通，能把自己的理解和体会融入到作品中，再用笔墨技法把它们表现出来，最终形成自己的个人风格。通过多年的实践，薛先生总结出勤、悟、学、练、径的五字习书法则，精益求精，坚持不懈。其书法作品多次参加全国、省市大赛，屡获金奖、一等奖。多副作品以中华国礼赠送外国政要友人，并被全国人大、全国政协和国家各部委、众多企业、海内外学者及书画爱好者收藏，多次参加原文化部、中国文联等单位组织的外出及走进企业文化交流。先后出版《亚杰书法作品集》、《薛稳发墨迹选》，2016年6月和欧阳中石先生合作出版《中国书画两大家作品鉴赏》。个人传略及多幅作品被列入《中国艺术大家》、《引领中国的时代骄子》、《华夏精英人物志》、《创新中国的时代先锋》、《一带一路世界高峰论坛·优秀书画名家典藏》、《中国书法作品集》、《中国书法史籍》、《中国书画当代名家》、《当代书画传承代表人物作品展》、《国际书画名家精品集》等诸多经典巨著，并被中央电视台、陕西电视台、央视网、中国书画网等各类媒体多次采访报道。

　　“先做人，后从艺，博学无穷，笃行不倦”是书法家薛稳发一直坚守的人生信条，他的艺术生涯，从不为名利争逐而左右，只明于慎独自我。长年来善行公益，义卖赈灾、赠字扶贫、捐款捐物都少不了他的身影，且从不思回报。正直的人品，精纯之艺境让薛先生赢得了社会各界的赞誉。
