Art is a universal language that transcends national borders, recording the glory and changes of human civilization in a unique way. On the vast stage of international art, Chinese artists have contributed countless treasures to the world's art treasury with their profound cultural heritage, unique artistic perspectives, and exquisite skills. They not only left a significant mark in the history of Chinese art, but also occupy a pivotal position in the international art hall.Since ancient times, Chinese art has attracted the attention of the world with its unique charm and profound connotations. From ancient calligraphy, painting, and ceramics to modern sculpture, photography, and new media art, Chinese artists constantly innovate, skillfully blending tradition and modernity, East and West, and creating eye-catching works of art. These works not only showcase the talent and wisdom of Chinese artists, but also convey the essence and charm of Chinese culture.In the international art hall, Chinese leading figures have become bridges connecting China and the world of art with their outstanding artistic achievements and extensive influence. They have not only achieved extraordinary achievements in their respective fields, but also promoted the internationalization process of Chinese art through international exchanges and cooperation, allowing the world to better understand and appreciate Chinese art.

洪瑞生,男,85 岁。原厦门大学美术系教授、研究生导师,首任系主任。中国美协会员。他是一位有着自己独特、丰富的油画艺术语言和风格的画家;是一位对艺术态度虔诚,对学术严谨深研,作画讲究真性情、“慢”功夫的画家。作品先后入展 1962 年“纪念延安文艺座谈会讲话发表 20 周年全国美展”、第七届、第八届全国美展、首届中国油画展及多次入展全国专题展。2015 年 11 月在中国美术馆举办“闽南红•洪瑞生油画展”。油画《崇武渔妇》中国美术馆收藏。2004 年 9 月-2005 年 12 月他为厦门郑成功纪念馆创作大型历史画《雄风—郑成功收复台湾》(210×450cm)。2011 年 11 月至 2012 年 12 月应邀为印尼峇达博物馆创作大型历史画《最后的战将》(236 ×388 cm)。

他 1959 —1964 年就读、毕业于中央美术学院油画系吴作人工作室,他承袭了吴作人教授的“为人生而艺术”的理念和系统的油画技巧,也受益于油画系的教学学术体系;由此,他明确地树立起用艺术歌颂人民,反映时代精神的艺术信念。这是他的学术传承。

他立足文化自觉,致力于探索油画”中国化“。他的艺术追求是:“生意盎然,生机勃发,彩光弥散,气韵生动;即,神采为上,意境精之。”他在创作中坚持“以神绘形,形才有‘神’:即有神采和意味;才有艺术感染力和生命力。”“他静心守志,长积法变,根植于中华人文传统和人文情怀,倾心艺术求索。他勤于思考,写了四十多年的《艺术笔记》。

洪瑞生出生于鼓浪屿,鼓浪屿自然成为他的艺术灵感,他以独到的油画语言呈现出鼓浪屿的人情风物:宁静澄明、风和天朗、琴声萦绕、人文风采;画面诗境与神韵,沁人心腑!他命名为“鼓浪诗”系列。

他的另一个艺术灵感来自闽南的渔家生活及家乡风物的情动里。他说:“我十分了解闽南人特别喜欢和崇尚红色,从红厝、红墙、红地砖、红家具、红衣被、红船、红帆、红色的年节和庙宇,还有我们耕耘的红土地,这种无处不在的“闽南红”,不仅令我感奋,也令自己领悟到这红色所具有的民情、感染力和生命张力。在长期的艺术积累中,逐步形成富于创意的色彩谱系,即独具闽南生活气息与色彩形象意蕴的“闽南红”。这独到、丰富、饱和、温润的“红”:红得有品位、有人文气息;总之,充满了暖心的感染力!这些作品构成了他的另一艺术系列“闽南红”。


洪瑞生高度重视油画色彩的艺术境界和艺术呈现。他深知色彩、色调是油画的蕴情的华彩乐章,他的作品各具鲜明的个性化色调,画面色彩丰富、微妙、传情、耐品,呈现着有修养的和谐及超越性的诗意之美;他五十多岁时发现“彩之光“的灵感后,开始在“彩光”上进行创新性探索,首创性地提出“彩光”的艺术理念,并在作品中有高品位的艺术呈现。


洪瑞生的艺术之路,不仅在于其深厚的功力和鲜明的系列成果,更在于三大核心支柱:其一,是贯穿始终的油画“中国化”的文化自觉,以《论油画从“消化”走上创造》为其理论结晶;其二,是数十年如一日对艺术个性化高境界的执着追求,不断淬炼独树一帜的艺术风格;其三,是敢于突破、勇于创造的“彩光”理念及技法体系的原创性贡献。他从艺 66 年,不逐潮流,不赶时尚,坚定地走自己的艺术之路,在文化根脉的探究、艺术个性的升华与形式语言的独创上均具有学术的新意和高度。

Hong Ruisheng, male, 85 years old. Former professor and graduate supervisor of the Department of Fine Arts at Xiamen University, and the first department head. Member of the China Artists Association. He is a painter with his own unique and rich oil painting language and style; He is a painter who is devout in his attitude towards art, rigorous in his academic research, and pays attention to his true nature and slow work in painting. The works have been exhibited successively in the National Art Exhibition commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Yan'an Forum on Literature and Art in 1962, the 7th and 8th National Art Exhibitions, the first Chinese Oil Painting Exhibition, and multiple national thematic exhibitions. In November 2015, the "Minnan Red Hong Ruisheng Oil Painting Exhibition" was held at the National Art Museum of China. The oil painting 'Chongwu Fisherman's Woman' is collected by the National Art Museum of China. From September 2004 to December 2005, he created a large-scale historical painting titled "Mighty Wind - Zheng Chenggong Recovers Taiwan" (210 × 450cm) for the Zheng Chenggong Memorial Hall in Xiamen. From November 2011 to December 2012, I was invited to create a large-scale historical painting titled 'The Last Warrior' (236 × 388 cm) for the Bata Museum in Indonesia.


He studied and graduated from the Wu Zuoren Studio in the Oil Painting Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts from 1959 to 1964. He inherited Professor Wu Zuoren's concept of "art for life" and systematic oil painting techniques, and also benefited from the teaching and academic system of the Oil Painting Department; Thus, he clearly established the artistic belief of using art to sing praises to the people and reflect the spirit of the times. This is his academic legacy.

He is rooted in cultural consciousness and dedicated to exploring the "Sinicization" of oil painting. His artistic pursuit is: "vibrant and lively, with diffuse colors and vivid charm; that is, the spirit is the top priority, and the artistic conception is refined.

Hong Ruisheng was born on Gulangyu Island, which naturally became his artistic inspiration. With his unique oil painting language, he presents the human emotions and scenery of Gulangyu Island: tranquility and clarity, wind and sky, lingering music, and humanistic charm; The poetic scenery and charm of the picture are refreshing to the heart! He named it the "Gulang Poetry" series.


His other artistic inspiration comes from the life of fishermen in southern Fujian and the charm of his hometown. He said, "I am very familiar with the Minnan people's special love and admiration for red. From the red houses, red walls, red tiles, red furniture, red clothes and quilts, red boats, red sails, red festivals and temples, as well as the red soil we cultivate, this ubiquitous' Minnan red 'not only excites me, but also makes me realize the folk sentiment, infectiousness, and vitality of this red color. In the long-term accumulation of art, a creative color spectrum has gradually formed, namely the unique Minnan lifestyle and color imagery of "Minnan Red". This unique, rich, saturated, and warm "red": red must have taste and humanistic atmosphere; In short, it is full of heartwarming infectivity! These works constitute his other art series, 'Minnan Red'.

Hong Ruisheng attaches great importance to the artistic realm and presentation of oil painting colors. He deeply understands that color and hue are the colorful movements of oil painting, and his works each have distinct personalized tones. The colors in his paintings are rich, subtle, emotional, and enduring, presenting a cultured harmony and transcendent poetic beauty; When he was in his fifties, he discovered the inspiration for "colored light" and began to explore it innovatively. He first proposed the artistic concept of "colored light" and presented it with high-quality art in his works.


Hong Ruisheng's artistic path lies not only in his profound skills and distinctive series of achievements, but also in three core pillars: firstly, the cultural consciousness of "Sinicization" of oil painting that runs through the whole process, with "On Oil Painting from" Digestion "to Creation" as its theoretical crystallization; Secondly, it is the persistent pursuit of a high level of personalized art for decades, constantly refining a unique artistic style; Thirdly, it is the original contribution of the "colorful light" concept and technique system that dares to break through and create. He has been in the arts for 66 years, not following trends or fashion, firmly following his own artistic path. He has academic innovation and height in exploring cultural roots, sublimating artistic personality, and creating original formal language.
