Wang
Peixue is a female calligrapher and painter. Born in Shanghai,
granddaughter of Wang Cilong, a Chinese film actor, producer, and
screenwriter, currently residing in Shenzhen. She is a calligrapher and
painter at the China Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, a calligrapher
and painter at the China International Calligraphy and Painting Art
Research Association, and a calligrapher and painter at the Global
Center for International Cultural and Art Exchange. She has been
recognized as a National Senior Calligraphy Instructor by the Chinese
Ministry of Education Examination and Evaluation Committee, and has been
recognized as a National Senior Artist and Calligrapher by the National
Professional Title Evaluation Committee. Vice Chairman of the Art
Committee of the China Cultural and Art Talent Management Center and
Vice Chairman of the National Calligraphy and Painting Art Committee.
The work was reported multiple times in China Art Daily, Hong Kong Art
Daily, Shenyang Daily, and Liaoning Provincial Workers' Daily from 2012
to 2018. From 2018 to 2023, the National Grassroots Committee of Culture
and the CCTV International Channel were awarded the title of "People's
Artist with the Double Bell of Virtue and Art" at the National People's
Congress and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political
Consultative Conference. In 2021, in commemoration of the 100th
anniversary of the birth of the CPC, he was awarded "People's Artist of
Deyi Shuangqing" by China Calligrapher's Association, China National
Academy of Painting and Calligraphy, China Artists Association and other
units.
