周明,山西太原人,原藉永济,中国人民大学书法硕士研究生。现任山西国际文化交流协会理事,山西省城乡文艺交流协会副会长,山西省农民书画艺术协会副会长,三晋文化研究书画院副院长,王羲之书画院副院长,人民日报神州书画院特聘书画师,国宾礼特供艺术家,形象大使,山西省书协会员。在四十余年的砚海耕耘中,以传统经典为师,勤临苦练,笔耕不辍,形成了清秀隽永,遒劲潇洒的个人风格。尤其在大,中,小楷上的造诣,更是得到了欧阳中石,段成桂以及金运昌等专家学者的高度评价。2009年获中国永乐宫第二届国际书画艺术节百佳奖,以及文化部文华奖。2012年赴日参加国际书画艺术展并获金奖和市长奖。2002年,2015年,2017年,2019年,2021年先后在省会太原,山西朔州市,阳泉市,永济市,运城市等地成功举办个人书法展。其作品不仅得到了社会的好评,同时更被国内外众多机构永久收藏。

书法家周明先生写出《为天地立心》这件楷书镜心作品的时候,当是荡气回肠的表达!因为他执笔作书果然有与张载同样的精气神,区别张公以座右铭的方式畅志抒怀,周明先生则以翰墨形态表达内心的正大气象。人之所论“楷精法详”,周明先生的书法体系里果然写得“特为真正”。

他的楷书涉及到的取法相当宽博,近乎是集成了楷书从魏晋小楷的圆活生动,到大唐楷法的严谨精研,再到明清楷书的精益求精,一路修习而来,系统梳理了小楷、中楷、大楷以致擘窠大字的流变与激变,把“楷法无欺”的功夫历练到了炉火纯青,博涉多优。

纵横鉴观他的楷书作品,基本上就是中国楷书一部可以真观于眼前的汗青史卷!周明楷书,不仅仅是他追求卓越书法功勋的个人显证,也是楷书深刻影响中国人文化心态、处世哲学的如复旧观。认认真真写字,端端正正做人,心正则笔正!小楷抄经,明心见怀,如《心经》。楷书箴言,触动心田,若《藏书为富》。抑左扬右,生动圆活,是《唐太宗百字箴言》!周明楷书承载着无量极多的文化迅息,成为书法渊妙代不绝人的典范!难怪他的书法作品被广泛收藏,金书锦字能不成和璧隋珠乎?

作为一名当代文人典范,周明的书法不断凝聚书卷气息,致力于让书法再次呈现晋韵宋意的天质自然。他有这种弘愿,也有这等成果。其行书精临兰亭序,写得天朗气清,惠风和畅。雅集精髓同样是如复旧观,就是与冯本并列在一起,以令世莫能辨的“真迹”!这得下多大的功夫,才能“今之视昔亦如后之视今”。在取法文人法帖的基础上,周明的行书亦能做出遂心应手在自我表达。放手写心再作《唐太宗百字箴言》,书卷气息扑面盈心,自然是赏心悦目。写下《观海听涛》最是牵丝映带,刚柔相济的书道证见。


草书之稿始于汉代,崔瑗杜度始作其妙,迨乎伯英尤善其美!周明行草、草书袭承章草的丰姿多神,精研狂草的飘风骤雨,最能体现用笔千古不易的真谙,写下《天高云淡望断南飞雁》正是以狂继癫的惊雷驰电,写得纵横不群,迅驰骇人。果然是心手相师势转成,诡形怪状翻合宜。怀素草书的铁画银钩作其形,毛体草书的诗言志立其神,形神兼备,尤贵于神。当代草书一支笔的修养高度因书而现,正是翰墨横空的巍仪姿态!

深师碑帖,绝学上乘。周明先生从书法碑帖里寻找书道秘码,解锁书道玄机,所付出的努力不同凡响,在瘦金体、隶书、篆书篆刻等方面也非常的有建树。隶书师汉家十碑,作高古朴茂。瘦金写锋芒毕露,傲骨峥嵘!在书法的天地里,他追求书道绝学,以作无忧表达,是谓可以写得成书法琼花玉蕊的大手笔!

Zhou Ming, born in Taiyuan, Shanxi, originally from Yongji, is a master's student in calligraphy at Renmin University of China. The current director of Shanxi International Cultural Exchange Association, vice president of Shanxi Urban Rural Cultural Exchange Association, vice president of Shanxi Farmers Calligraphy and Painting Art Association, vice president of Sanjin Cultural Research Calligraphy and Painting Institute, vice president of Wang Xizhi Calligraphy and Painting Institute, specially appointed calligrapher and painter of People's Daily Shenzhou Calligraphy and Painting Institute, national guest gift special artist, image ambassador, and member of Shanxi Calligraphy Association. In more than 40 years of cultivation in Yanhai, I have learned from traditional classics, practiced diligently, and never stopped writing, forming a graceful and elegant personal style. Especially in the fields of large, medium, and small regular script, his expertise has been highly praised by experts and scholars such as Ouyang Zhongshi, Duan Chenggui, and Jin Yunchang. In 2009, he won the Top 100 Award at the 2nd Yongle Palace International Calligraphy and Painting Art Festival in China, as well as the Wenhua Award from the Ministry of Culture. In 2012, participated in the International Calligraphy and Painting Art Exhibition in Japan and won the Gold Award and Mayor's Award. In 2002, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021, individual calligraphy exhibitions were successfully held in the provincial capital of Taiyuan, Shuozhou City, Yangquan City, Yongji City, Yuncheng City, and other places. His works have not only received high praise from society, but have also been permanently collected by numerous institutions both domestically and internationally.

When calligrapher Mr. Zhou Ming wrote the regular script Mirror Heart work "Establishing Heart for Heaven and Earth", it was a heart stirring expression! Because he has the same spirit and spirit as Zhang Zai when writing books, the difference is that Zhang Gong expresses his emotions through his motto, while Mr. Zhou Ming expresses his inner righteousness in calligraphy. Mr. Zhou Ming's calligraphy system, which emphasizes the refinement and detail of regular script, truly embodies the essence of human discourse.

His regular script involves a wide range of selection methods, almost integrating the lively and rounded style of regular script from the Wei and Jin dynasties, to the rigorous and meticulous study of the Tang dynasty's regular script, and then to the continuous improvement of the Ming and Qing dynasty's regular script. He has systematically sorted out the changes and upheavals of small, medium, and large scripts, as well as the creation of large characters. He has honed the skill of "no deceit in regular script" to a perfect level, and has excelled in many aspects.

Looking at his regular script works vertically and horizontally, it is basically a historical volume of Chinese regular script that can be truly observed before our eyes! Zhou Ming's regular script is not only a personal testament to his pursuit of outstanding calligraphy achievements, but also a profound influence of regular script on the cultural mentality and philosophy of Chinese people, such as a retro perspective. Write seriously, be upright and upright, with a regular heart and a straight pen! Copying scriptures in regular script reveals one's true feelings, just like the Heart Sutra. The proverbs in regular script touch the heart, like the book "Collecting books for wealth". Suppressing the left and promoting the right, vivid and lively, is the Hundred Character Proverbs of Emperor Taizong of Tang! The regular script of Zhou Ming carries an immeasurable amount of cultural information, becoming a model of calligraphy that is unparalleled for generations to come! No wonder his calligraphy works are widely collected, can the golden calligraphy and brocade characters become a harmonious Sui pearl?

As a model of contemporary literati, Zhou Ming's calligraphy constantly embodies the essence of calligraphy, striving to once again present the natural essence of the Jin and Song dynasties in calligraphy. He has such aspirations and achievements. Its running script is exquisitely written in the preface of the Orchid Pavilion, with a clear sky and a gentle breeze. The essence of Yaji is also like a retro view, which is a "true work" that is juxtaposed with Feng Ben to make it impossible for the world to distinguish! How much effort is needed to "see the past as we will see the present in the future.". On the basis of learning from literati and calligraphy, Zhou Ming's running script was also able to express himself with ease. Letting go and writing "The Hundred Character Proverbs of Emperor Taizong of Tang", the book's breath fills the face and the heart, naturally pleasing to the eye. Writing "Observing the Sea and Listening to the Waves" is a reflection of the combination of firmness and softness in calligraphy.

The draft of cursive script began in the Han Dynasty, when Cui Yuan and Du Du began to create its beauty, and then Bo Ying excelled in its beauty! Zhou Ming's cursive style and cursive script inherit the abundant and divine beauty of Zhang Cao, and his meticulous study of the wind and rain of wild grass best reflects the true mastery of writing that has been difficult for generations. Writing "The Sky is High, Clouds are Light, Watching the Flying Wild Goose in the South" is precisely based on the frenzy of thunder and lightning, writing in a unique and terrifying manner. Indeed, it is a transformation of the mind and hands, with a strange and appropriate transformation. The iron paintings and silver hooks of Huaisu's cursive script are used to depict its form, while the poetry of Mao's cursive script expresses its spirit with both form and spirit, making it particularly precious compared to the spirit. The cultivation height of a contemporary cursive brush is reflected in the book, and it is precisely the majestic posture of calligraphy in the sky!
