高杰，1955年生于天津，1977年毕业于天津美术学院中国画系，1982年回天津美院国画系进修一年，2005年结业于中国艺术研究院。研究生院“硕士课程美术学研究班及中国艺术研究院中国画高级访问学者班”。现为天津工艺美院中国画系教授，国家一级美术师。2012年应邀为中南海创作大型山水画《群峰沐朝阳》。建军七十周年全国书画大展中荣获金奖，2020年中外名人研究会一代名家称号，2021年获建党一百周年国际艺术家金马奖，2021年获传承百年艺术名家奖，2021年获中国功勋人物，2021年荣获由中美协，中书协颁发的德艺双馨“人民艺术家’荣誉称号。

 Gao Jie was born in Tianjin in 1955. He graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts in 1977. In 1982, he returned to the Department of Chinese Painting at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts for one year of further education. He graduated from the China Academy of Art in 2005. The Master's Program in Fine Arts at the Graduate School and the Senior Visiting Scholar Program in Chinese Painting at the Chinese Academy of Art. I am currently a professor at the Department of Chinese Painting at Tianjin Institute of Arts and Crafts, and a national first-class artist. In 2012, I was invited to create a large-scale landscape painting called "Amidst the Peaks and the Sunrise" for Zhongnanhai. Won the Gold Award at the National Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition for the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, was awarded the title of First Generation Famous Artist by the Chinese and Foreign Celebrity Research Association in 2020, won the International Artist Golden Horse Award for the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China in 2021, won the Inheritance Centenary Art Famous Artist Award in 2021, was awarded the Chinese Meritorious Figure in 2021, and was awarded the honorary title of "People's Artist" by the China Artists Association and the China Calligraphy Association in 2021.
