跨越海峡的书画情港澳台书画作品大展，对于推动港澳台地区书画艺术的发展具有重要意义。它不仅能够为书画家们提供一个展示和交流的平台，促进彼此之间的学习与借鉴，还能够增进三地之间的文化认同和友谊。同时，通过线上展览的举办，也能够让更多的人了解和欣赏到港澳台地区的书画艺术，推动中华文化的传承与发扬。

　　杨秀宇，1934年11月出生，浙江诸暨人。出身于书香门第，1951年入伍，大专文化，高工，科学家，国家一级美术家。幼年受家庭熏陶喜欢绘画，曾就读杭州业余美校及中国书画函大花鸟高研班。

　　现任职务：央广国际文化艺术委员会副主席、央媒文化艺术顾问、中国美协会员、中华人民共和国美术大家、全国艺术职称考级中心首席专家、中国智慧工程研究会高级智库专家、中国航天文化艺术中心顾问及特约创作大师、中央电视台综艺频道星光大道栏目组艺术顾问、中华卫视艺术风采栏目艺术总监、国家美术师及润格评审委员会艺术顾问、文化强国首批高级智库高级研究员、CCTV中学生频道教授级艺术顾问、中国艺术研究院研究员，世界非物质文化遗产研究院副院长。

　　出版有杨秀宇画集，邮票邮集，挂历台历等，资料作品刊入《中国历代书画名家精品选集》(美术卷)，《中国近现代书画名家经典》(美术卷)，《共和国艺术辞海》(最新版)，《世界东方文人书画家全集》，《中国当代著名书画家珍品选(传世名画)》，《人民艺术家》，《中国美术选集(2001～ 2005)》，《世界美术大典》，《文化传承》(邵华泽主编出版)，《世博中国艺术名家题贺大典》，《中华名人格言》等等近七十多部。

　　1960年为中国最早高桥题写“北大河一号大桥”当今鲜为人知的嘉镜铁路一号大桥。

　　2020年被央视授予2020年最具收藏和艺术价值书画家，并制作专题纪录片。

　　2020年被中央国学频道特别授予“中国骄傲 精彩中华 榜样艺术家”荣誉称号。

　　2021年特邀入选央视“百城百家颂百年”优秀人民艺术家，全网专题报道。通过高铁站内的检票口，候车厅，以及候车厅内的所有的电视屏全面覆盖播出，向哈尔滨西站、太原南站、长沙南站、西安北站、昆明站，三亚站，六大站点辐射展播巡展全国200多个城市。

　　2021年作品亮相北京地铁电视“文化中国主题巡展活动，穿越长安街向新时代致敬另有《美丽中国》作品发表于人民日报2014.8.22海外版，作品《牡丹》被中国美术馆永久收藏，收藏证书编“ZJ00836”。

　　2022年作品入编由中国文化出版发行的为庆祝建军95周年精品文献《美术里的中国》大型书刊。

　　2023年1月由CCTV中学生频道 《美育视界》春节期间电视播出书画名家杨秀宇专题片。

　　2023年9月作品《锦绣前程》入编人民大会堂国礼特供中秋月饼，由人民大会堂发行使用。

　　并有多幅作品被国家博物馆、人民大会堂、地方档案馆、国际友人所收藏。

　　Yang Xiuyu, born in November 1934, was from Zhuji, Zhejiang. Born in a scholarly family, enlisted in 1951, with a college education, a senior engineer, a scientist, and a national first-class artist. Influenced by family in childhood, he enjoyed painting and studied at Hangzhou Amateur Art School and the Flower and Bird High School of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy University.

　　Current positions: Vice Chairman of CCTV International Cultural and Art Committee, Cultural and Art Advisor of CCTV Media, Member of China Artists Association, Art Master of the People's Republic of China, Chief Expert of National Art Title Examination Center, Senior Think Tank Expert of China Smart Engineering Research Association, Advisor and Special Creative Master of China Aerospace Culture and Art Center, Art Advisor of Star Avenue Program Group of CCTV Variety Channel, Art Director of Art Style Program of China TV, Art Advisor of National Artists and Runge Evaluation Committee, Senior Researcher of the First Batch of Senior Think Tanks of Cultural Power, Professor level Art Advisor of CCTV Middle School Channel, Researcher of China Academy of Art, and Vice Dean of World Intangible Cultural Heritage Research Institute.

　　In 1960, he wrote "Beidahe No.1 Bridge" for the earliest high bridge in China. Today, the little-known Jiajing Railway No.1 Bridge.

　　In 2020, he was awarded the title of Most Valuable Calligrapher and Painter of 2020 by CCTV and produced a special documentary.

　　In 2020, he was specially awarded the honorary title of "Proud and Wonderful Chinese Role Model Artist" by the Central Chinese Culture Channel.

　　In 2021, he was specially invited to be selected as an outstanding people's artist in CCTV's "100 Cities, 100 Schools, and 100 Years" program, with a special report on the entire network. Through the ticket gates, waiting halls, and all TV screens in the waiting hall of the high-speed rail station, it fully covers and broadcasts to Harbin West Station, Taiyuan South Station, Changsha South Station, Xi'an North Station, Kunming Station, Sanya Station, and six major stations, radiating to more than 200 cities across the country.

　　In 2021, the work made an appearance at the Beijing Subway TV's "Cultural China Theme Tour", crossing Chang'an Street to pay tribute to the new era. Additionally, the work "Beautiful China" was published in the overseas edition of People's Daily on August 22, 2014. The work "Peony" was permanently collected by the National Art Museum of China, and the collection certificate is "ZJ00836".

　　In 2022, the work was included in a large-scale book and magazine titled "China in Fine Arts", which was published by China Culture Publishing to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the military.

　　In January 2023, a special feature film by Yang Xiuyu, a renowned calligrapher and painter, was broadcasted on CCTV High School Channel's "Aesthetic Education Vision" during the Spring Festival.

　　In September 2023, the work "Brilliant Future" was included in the National Ceremony of the Great Hall of the People as a special Mid Autumn Festival mooncake, which was distributed and used by the Great Hall of the People.
